Koh Phangan now has a elephant trekking based in the northern fishing village of Chaloklum. Treks are organised for 1/2 hour or 1 hour and take in the spectacular views looking out towards Koh Tao; afterwards watch the baby elephant perform amazing tricks. Hard to miss, if passing by stop and take say hello to these gentle giants.

The first Archey club has opened near Ckaloklum Village. It is easy to try out this famous sport with equipment and instruction available, all levels welcome from beginner to professional. You can relax and enjoy the many benefits of a traditional herbal steam sauna at Wat Pho. Lemongrass is added to a boiler, which is heated by a log wood fire to create the herbal steam that is fed into the sauna.

One of the island’s most recent arrivals has been the 4-wheel wonders… The ATV’s. They are definitely a fun and exciting way to see the island and navigate some of those sandy bumpy roads of the northern and central parts of the island. L’Oasi Musical Grill & Pub is the first ATV rental on the island and a great place to receive training and practice on their practice track located next to paradise Waterfall.
